On Friday-Sunday October 2-4, the International Peopl'ss Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) will be holding its 2009 International Convention in Philadelphia, PA. The theme for this year's convention will "They Say Cutback, We Say Payback! The convention weekend, which will begin on Friday, October 2 with "They Say Cutback, We Say Payback" Philadelphia March for Reparations and Independence will be attended by InPDUM members and supporters, revolutionaries, democratic forces and the masses of African people from the U.S. and around the world. We will converge upon Philadelphia, PA to vote for new InPDUM leadership, amendments to our constitution and resolutions on the correct way forward as an organization. Most importantly, we will unite the community with InPDUM's Revolutionary National Democratic Program and build the mass organization necessary to win self determination for African people within U.S. borders and elsewhere.

Throw Nutter In the Gutter -- Hands off the City Hall 2!

Philly court doublecrosses the people as City Hall 2 struggle intensifies!
InPDUM mobilizing for June 16th attempted lynching (hearing)

When International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) International Organizer Diop Olugbala (Wali Rahman) and member Shabaka Mnombatha (Franklin Moses), also known as the Philly City Hall 2, walked out of the Philadelphia Criminal Justice Center on April 28 they thought the hardest part of their struggle was behind them. During their preliminary hearing, renowned activist-attorney Michael Coard stepped into the case and single-handedly exposed the lies that the State were trying to use to cover up their attack on these two brothers. It was in this same hearing where Judge Theresa Carr Deni ruled that the felony assault charges were not valid and threw them out.

InPDUM and the African community summed this up as a victory and prepared for the then scheduled trial on June 18th, confident they would beat the remaining misdemeanor charges, adding one more chapter to InPDUM's illustrious history of struggle and victory.

However, on May 29 all of that changed, when comrade Diop received a call from Coard, who informed him of the City's latest attempt to send him to prison.
